Ultra-compact visibility meter (ultra-compact fog sensor)

Quantifying the deterioration of visibility (horizontal visibility) due to fog and blizzards! Utilized for accident prevention measures due to visibility deterioration and evaluation of optical sensors!

This is a sensor that quantifies "visibility," which refers to how far ahead one can see. It can quantitatively measure visibility deterioration caused by fog, rain, and snow, allowing for the following applications: - Issuing alerts for dangers due to visibility impairments - Adjusting the brightness of optical devices such as road signs - Evaluating outdoor optical equipment like LiDAR We offer various types depending on the application: - Standard model: Measures general visibility impairments (calculates visibility values every 30 seconds) - 10K model: Measures visibility when conditions are better than standard - FAST model: Measures rapid visibility deterioration during blizzards (calculates visibility values every second) - In-vehicle model: Measures visibility while driving for the evaluation of devices like LiDAR.

Sight distance meter PWD20 rental

For accurate visibility measurement

The PWD20 measures visibility based on the principle of forward scattering. It is calibrated using a high-precision transmissometer as a standard. The optical sensor for measuring visibility is installed inside a downward-facing hood, which protects the lens from precipitation and dust. Its structure is designed to withstand harsh weather, allowing for stable and reliable measurements over a long period. In areas where there is a risk of snow and ice accumulation in winter, an optional hood heater is effective.
